Esthetics 484 Hours

A program that prepares individuals to function as licensed estheticians and skincare specialists.

Includes instruction in skin anatomy and physiology; safety and infection control; skincare procedures and services; tools and equipment; color and skin analysis; client consultation and care; Federal Regulations and Standards, Oregon Laws and Rules; Career Development and business practices.

The objective of the program is to provide students with technical skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, desirable attitudes, and competencies to work in a salon, spa, clinic, or medical setting.
Upon graduation, students will be able to perform treatments within the scope of practice for Esthetics.

Licensure in esthetics prepares the student to perform treatments in a salon, spa, or wellness clinic.
